Asghar Farhadi directs this highly-acclaimed Iranian drama, which won the 2012 Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film, about the far-reaching effects of an acrimonious divorce. Middle-class couple Nader (Peyman Moaadi) and Simin (Leila Hatami) plan to emigrate to Europe with their eleven-year-old daughter, Termeh (Sarina Farhadi). But when Nader decides to stay behind to care for his Alzheimer's-suffering father, Simin files for divorce and states her intention to leave the country with her daughter.
