Otra gira en torno a la Revolución Rusa. Vlady es un sobreviviente y uno de sus temas es el asesinato de Trotsky, planeado por Stalin y ejecutado por Ramón Mercader con un golpe de piolet en la cabeza, el 20 de agosto de 1940 en la calle Viena, número 19, de Coyoacán. A partir de ese acontecimiento trágico, construye una iconografía con una fuerte carga política, aunque muy alejada del muralismo clásico.
