Pastor in the Pasture

Together at last, Bernice Hordstrom and Evan Wyatt adjust themselves to the idea of a lifetime commitment to each other. If only pesky things like finding a home, eking out a living, and interferingin-laws didn't get in the way. And of course, there's murder. No matter how hard Bernice tries, she always manages to land herself in the thick of it. In the dead of winter (pun intended) Evan is called away to investigate a frozen corpse discovered in a pasture. And wouldn't you know it, while light trespassing at a farmstead for sale, Bernice comes across another dead body, along with a large pony ofall things. Then there is Bernice's aunt, Darlene, and their neighbor, Marsha, hell bent on finding out what their church pastor is up to, and getting in trouble in the process. Who would've figured, January in northwest Wisconsin could be so exciting?
