This is a personal manifesto written in recovery. It blends philosophy, poetry, testimony, and mythological reference to explore how creative devotion can serve as a tool for staying alive after addiction.The language is intentionally layered and allusive. The frameworks presented are metaphors for lived experience, not clinical prescriptions. The idealization of the beloved—explored throughout—is examined as a conscious choice for meaning-making in recovery, rather than as pathology.This work is informed by Narcotics Anonymous principles but is a personal interpretation.
