Funeral Message

Nora Vale is sitting beside her husband's coffin when the phones in the chapel light up.IF YOU'RE READING THIS, I'M DEAD.IT WASN'T AN ACCIDENT.NORA IS MY KILLER.She has already told the police she was home the night Daniel died. Nearly six hours are missing from her memory. Now a private warning tells her to remember why she left his car.Six scheduled messages remain.Back at Blackwater House, Daniel's family and colleagues wait for the next delivery while a storm cuts off the road. Nora is surrounded by people who knew her husband—and by people who have been telling her what happened on the night he died.Daniel built LastWord to let its customers speak after death. He knew how to keep a secret until the person it could hurt was listening. Nora needs to find out what he left behind, and who has a reason to stop her reading it.Then someone else in the house dies.Nora can no longer afford to wait for her memory to return. But every time her phone lights up, Daniel gets to speak first.
