Diwan Tawfiq

Muhammad Tawfiq bin Ahmed bin Ali bin Ahmed Al -Asiri Al -Abbasi was born in the village of Zawiya Al -Masbah, Beni Suef Governorate, in Upper Egypt, in which he died. He lived in Egypt and Sudan, he received his first education in the village writers, and memorized the Holy Qur''an while he was still young, then he left for Cairo to join the Ka''bi Primary School, where he obtained the primary certificate, then he was organized in the School of Arts and Al -Sanaya, but he did not complete his studies, so he went to the soldier "The Military School" and graduated with the rank of second lieutenant in 1898. He has five collections previously published, and it was printed by the Egyptian General Book Authority in the form of complete works in two part And "Al -Rawda Al -Faiha", and Diwan Tawfiq, and the translator was printed at his own expense in 1909. Muhammad Tawfiq is the poet who gave his life to sing on the harbinger of Arabic poetry, and he is the poet whose poetry page was shown among the books of forgetfulness; Critics neglected him and did not celebrate him as a flag of poetic art, as he was considered the constellation of the Knights of the statement in his time.
