Nach den vorgesehenen 40 Tagen ohne Essen fühlt er sich aber so missverstanden, dass er seine Kunst fortsetzt - so lange bis sich niemand mehr für ihn interessiert und er in einem Käfig vergessen wird.Danijel Zezeljs Seitenlayout und der kontrastreiche Stil sind wie geschaffen, um die besondere Stimmung von Kafkas Erzählungen in Bilder zu übertragen. In einer sachlich-nüchternen Sprache hat Kafka unglaubliche Vorgänge geschildert. Zezelj verstärkt diesen Widerspruch, indem er die Originaltexte Kafkas mit seinen realistischen und gleichzeitig expressionistischen Bildern verbindet.Danijel Zezelj lebt und arbeitet in New York und Zagreb.
