What began as a simple way to bring joy during the stillness of the 2020 pandemic slowly grew into something sacred. WE
MAKING! was born in a season of slowing down-when kitchens became classrooms, creativity became connection, and everyday moments became opportunities to grow closer to God.

The heart behind this book traces back to short cooking videos shared with a beloved grandparent, offering encouragement during a tender season of caregiving. Those
small acts of love soon blossomed into a family rhythm of cooking, baking, crafting, singing, and praying together-rooted in joy, faith, and togetherness. Through it all,
one truth became clear: God shows up powerfully in the ordinary.

After the first book, WE MAKING! Sweets and Treats. 7 Days a Week, it was evident this journey was never meant to stop. WE MAKING! Breakfast Bites & Blessings is not just another children's cookbook, nor simply a devotional. It is a thoughtful blend of both-designed to help families keep God at the center of everyday tasks like making breakfast. With simple, kid-friendly recipes paired with Scripture and devotionals, this book reflects real family life: the messes, the meltdowns, the
laughter, the questions, the spills, and the moments when things don't turn out as expected.

Anchored in Proverbs 3:5-6 and Numbers 6:24-26, each meal becomes a lesson in trusting God, following the process, and speaking blessing and peace over one another. Just as recipes guide the outcome of a dish, God faithfully orders our steps.
