When Tessa Montgomery turns to a breakup specialist for help getting rid of her ex, the last thing she expects is to be set up with a fake boyfriend. There's no question Tessa's overplanning and Greer's tendency to fly by the seat of his pants make them complete opposites. But as the miles pass, Tessa starts to see that Greer's attitude is freeing, and Greer realizes he could use a little order in his life. Stuck together in a car for hours on end, they begin to find that there's more to them than a fake relationship. And as they fall deeper in love, they discover that their opposites may just be what's been missing from their lives all along.
