Ce travail est consacré ŕ une étude numérique de la ventilation passive dans un habitat bioclimatique adapté au climat tropical sec du Burkina Faso. La toiture est conçue pour qu'une ventilation naturelle soit crée dans l'habitat. Les équations qui régissent les transferts dans la toiture et l'habitat, déduites par analogie avec les transferts électriques sont résolues par la méthode des différences finies et la méthode ''Diabolo Sablier''. Nous analysons l'influence de l'orientation de la toiture, de son inclinaison par rapport ŕ l'horizontale, de la nature des matériaux, de la hauteur de la cheminée, sur la température de l'air dans l'habitat et le débit d'air qui circule par convection naturelle dans la toiture. Les résultats des simulations des transferts dans un habitat équipé d'une toiture bioclimatique qui sont présentés, montrent que la température ŕ l'intérieur de l'habitat est certes réduite par rapport ŕ la température externe mais n'atteint pas celle recommandée par les normes du confort thermique. Notre modčle de ventilation passive constitue un pas important dans la recherche de solution ŕ l'épineux problčme de la consommation énergétique.
