Trapped in ACOFAF

The night that Morgan "dies," she's talking about books with her friend.

Excited to share her interests, Jenna, Morgan's bookish friend from middle school, asks Morgan to check out her favorite series. Since Morgan's been looking for a chance to get closer to Jenna after she moved away (and their friendship began feeling like it ran on nostalgia), Morgan jumps at the chance. Unfortunately, she quickly learns that she's not a fan of the tropes running the show... not to mention the moody and overbearing love interest, Eron.

As it now feels there's a new thing pulling them apart, the girls get into a car accident, knocking them unconscious. When they wake in a mystical forest, it doesn't take long to realize they're actually inside of the book series: ACOFAF. Morgan doesn't want to believe it, but then broody, shadow-wielding Eron shows up and declares that Morgan is his "mate."

Now, the whole plot's thrown out of whack, and Morgan is desperate to return home, because this book is seriously, seriously stupid... and she can't tell whether she and Eron want to kiss or kill each other. All the while, Jenna wants to stay in ACOFAF, testing a friendship that was already chafing.
