The Tree OF THE First Flame

Three golden dragon eggs. A living tree. A king determined to claim them both.

When a king's pursuit of ancient magic unleashes a devastating flood, Agatha saves three golden dragon eggs from the rising waters. Her act of courage draws her family into a struggle over the Tree of the First Flame-a living power whose roots connect the realms.

For her daughter, Lanamay, the journey begins with a stranger at the Pierce Inn. Droush is a Fire Talker who can hear what flames remember, but his gift carries painful memories-and a secret tied to the danger spreading beneath their feet. As their attraction deepens, trust becomes as essential as the magic they wield.

From the luminous forests of Acirdon to a sea realm where homes float above drowned roads, Lanamay and her companions discover how far King Aeric Valthorne will go to command the crossings. With royal mages closing in, the Tree weakening, and innocent lives caught in the king's demands, protecting the eggs could cost them everything they love.

The Tree of the First Flame begins Tosh Johnson's fantasy series with elemental magic, golden dragons, tender romance, and a family's fight to keep the roads between worlds free.
