The Law

God's love for mankind cannot be revealed because it is forever; his plan for mankind cannot be shown because his intention and reason for every action may not be understood by some and some may seem to counter it forgetting that everything that God does is perfect and there is no form of deception found in God. God revealed the law to the Israelites because of the circumstances of things that prevailed in the beginning. Adam sinned against God and was chased out of the Garden of Eden which represented the presence of God and man began to live in sin without acknowledgment of God. God had to wipe out humanity because of that but remained a family who pleased him and he wanted to bring about his life through them and the generations to come, he wanted to set a standard, a principle, a pattern they are to follow so they can succeed in all that they do. God gave them the law "The Law of Moses" because of the hardness of their heart. It was never God's intention that man lives by the law but by his spirit, by his leading and direction. He had to reveal his intention for mankind later on through his son Jesus Christ who came to fulfill the law not to abolish the law but to redefine it as it was in the beginning. God did not want a man to live in a lawful state where they become conscious of keeping the law by their strength. He wanted to reveal a life that will make them prosper and please him in all that they do and it was through his son who also promised us the Holy Spirit to be our teacher and guide. Christ came to reveal the truth that had been hidden in time past, systems and ways things had been before the law was revealed. The law is needful to guide man but it is not a state of salvation for mankind rather it makes one convict himself. Besides the written law, God has written his law in our hearts to guide us.
