Welcome to THE CLEAN TEAM!

In Episode 4 of the Little Leaders Start Early Series, young children are encouraged to practice positive daily habits that can help them become cleaner, more organized, safety-aware, responsible, and helpful.

The Clean Team teaches children that leadership can begin with simple everyday actions. From taking pride in bath time and starting the day clean to keeping bedrooms neat, putting toys away, and noticing clutter, children learn how positive habits can make a difference.

Young readers will practice:

• Taking pride in bath time and personal cleanliness
• Starting the day clean and ready
• Keeping bedrooms and personal spaces neat
• Putting toys, books, clothes, and belongings in their proper places
• Understanding how clutter can create trip, slip, and fall concerns
• Looking before walking and noticing their surroundings
• Helping with safe, age-appropriate tasks
• Becoming more organized and safety-aware
• Practicing positive habits every day

Children are also introduced to the Clean Team Star Challenge!

Practice Clean Team habits for one week and celebrate with a GREEN STAR.

Keep practicing for two weeks and celebrate with a BLUE STAR.

Continue building positive habits for one month and celebrate with a RED STAR.

The goal is not perfection.

The goal is to PRACTICE. LEARN. IMPROVE.

The Clean Team also includes a daily check-in, family and teacher discussion questions, and the Clean Team Pledge:

I will work hard to improve every day.

I will practice being productive and helpful.

I will increase my awareness of safety.

I will work to become more organized.
