Nirgends tritt dieses "Moment der Unverstehbarkeit" deutlicher zutage als in Fällen, wo in einem Menschen schöpferische Leistung und Wahnsinn zusammentreffen. Der Philosoph ist keineswegs der Ansicht, daß diese extremen Fälle je ganz durchschaut werden können, es geht ihm vielmehr darum, einen Standpunkt zu erreichen, von dem aus "echte Rätsel gesehen und bewußt werden".
