For centuries the city of Saelithar has prospered by mining the mysterious crystal known as Aelaryn.

When a violent earthquake opens a cavern beneath the city, scholars believe it may reveal the richest crystal vein ever discovered.

But what waits beneath the valley is far older and far more dangerous than anyone imagined.

Young resonance scholar Ilae descends into the newly opened tunnels hoping to prove herself to the Serathen Accord. Instead she discovers a hidden ecosystem of living crystal, strange creatures shaped by Aclaryn growth, and the buried ruins of an ancient civilization that once ruled the world. When Ilae accidentally awakens the Titan buried beneath Saelithar, the city begins to collapse under a storm of earthquakes.

The only hope of saving the valley lies in an ancient artifact known as the Crown of Serathen, capable of revealing the hidden lattice of crystal veins that connects the entire world. But activating the Crown awakens something far larger than a single Titan.
