Silent Generation

The Silent Generation, also referred to as the Traditionalist or Builders Generation, is the name chosen to describe the cohort of society born between 1928 and 1945. Typically considered cautious, frugal, conformist, and non-confrontational, the name Silent applies to the majority. As the children of the Greatest Generation and the parents of the Babyboomers, they were known for their traditional ideas and cautious approach to life.
