At Duke Business Park, nobody blinks when a raccoon heads to his workshop, a calico cat rides past on a scooter, a golden retriever takes the helm, or a harbor seal starts talking about dinner.
The goose, meanwhile, is trying to keep everyone organized.
Meet Rocky, Maggie, Duke, Chubs, and Walter: five friends with jobs, homes, habits, and just enough good intentions to make a mess of an ordinary day.
A toothache sends them on an all-night hospital expedition. A simple backyard project becomes everyone's problem. The weather has plans of its own. And when their waterfront neighborhood prepares for a carnival, even the best-laid plans begin to wobble.
Between the old railcars, working docks, neighborhood dinners, and the harbor crane overlooking it all, their arguments are frequent, their schemes questionable, and their loyalty beyond doubt.
SIDEWAY FIVE is a character-driven comedy about friendship, everyday mishaps, and the strange comfort of finding your people-even if some of them have paws, feathers, or flippers.
