"Serenade" contains Edie Schmoll's poem "And Now" that won the National Poetry Award in 2008 from American Mensa along with other prizewinning selections. Many have been set to music by the author's custom songwriting company, Music Songs, set for publication in 2012. Schmoll is a noted author, musician, composer, artist and educator living in Southern California. She is a resident poet and cover artist for Inland Empire's Awardwinning "i.e"-and author of the nonfiction book "A Crime Against One Person: HMO Nightmare" (2010). A collection of true stories and essays will be forthcoming in late 2011. Video of Schmoll's classical piano solos and images of her paintings may be viewed at www.trinityhemet.org -Home-Edie's Page. The imagery of these poems will touch the heart and soul of every reader.
