A Note from the Author:

"Nearly a century ago, in these historic towns, songs were sung openly in public squares and from windows, serving as a raw reflection of daily life. In one notable historical account, a woman famously revealed the secrets of a crime through her song, leading to the mystery's resolution and the capture of the perpetrators, after which she was called as a key witness."

This story is a journey into a real past, inspired by the true oral legacy passed down by my grandmother. Because this work is deeply rooted in actual events, the verses and songs Sara sings throughout her journey have been preserved in their authentic spirit. Furthermore, these pieces were entirely improvised-spoken directly from the heart in the heat of the moment rather than pre-scripted. Leaving these musical elements in their raw, spontaneous form captures the genuine texture of her world, serving as a powerful testament to the enduring spirit of a woman who sang her way through the storms of fate.
