This work brings discussions about tidal theory and binary systems, confronting ideas of Zahn, Tassoul and others scientists of the area. Our main objective is to explain how the binary stars achieved the equilibrium, in other words, synchronization - rotational velocity (_) equal orbital angular velocity (_), circularization - zero orbital eccentricity and all spins, orbital and rotational, aligned.
