The celebrity couple Kit and Owen Rocker, stars of a popular renovation series, take on a major project: the dark, spooky Grimm house, an antebellum mansion once used as a hospital for Civil War soldiers but now lies in sad disrepair.

From the onset, strange, mysterious accidents, as well as various other obstacles ensue, not the least of which is the Grimms, the crotchety, elderly owners of the house.
