Peptyd penetrujący komórki (CPP) to głównie peptydy kationowe, zazwyczaj składające się z 5-30 aminokwasów, które mogą przenikać przez błonę komórkową. Dzięki połączeniu cząsteczek, które same w sobie nie mają zdolności przenikania przez błonę komórkową, z CPP, infiltracja staje się możliwa. Konstrukt genetyczny (kodujący TS1-218+CPP) został wycięty z oczyszczonego plazmidowego DNA (pET 26 b (+)) i połączony z wektorem pPICZαA. To rekombinowane DNA zostało elektroporowane do E.coli, a w kolejnych etapach przeniesione do P. pastoris. W przyszłych badaniach interesujące będzie pomyślne przekształcenie wektora z genem do komórek Pichia. Ponadto głównym celem jest zwiększenie produkcji białka i analiza jego wpływu na komórki nowotworowe nabłonka.
