Dies stellte bisher ein grundsätzliches Problem der elektrischen Energietechnik dar. Eine in Reflexion arbeitende erfindungsgemäße Schaltungsanordnung aus optischen und elektronischen Komponenten stellt dabei den gewünschten linearen Zusammenhang zwischen Messgröße und Messwert bei Elimination der störenden Doppelbrechung der Lichtwellenleiter her, die sich ansonsten vermindernd auf die Effizienz des Faraday-Effektes auswirkt.
