The book of Ecclesiastes is one of the most beautiful books of the Bible to me. It's one of the most famous, too - its excerpts and quotes permeate our culture at every level, from the Rolling Stones to The Simpsons.
However, it's important that we read the book in its scriptural context and learn what lessons we can from its wisdom. In the New Testament, it says that
"All Scripture is inspired by God and is profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work."
(2 Timothy 3:16)
