Ein statistischer Teil mit den Straßennamen und deren Umbenennungen im Laufe der Jahrzehnte sowie zahlreiche Firmenchroniken und bisher noch nicht publizierte Bilder runden das Buch ab. Das zweite Buch steht für sich allein, kann jedoch für den interessierten Leser als Weiterführung des ersten gelten. Auf dem Spaziergang durch Ober- und Niederplanitz wird der aufmerksame Leser viel Neues, aber auch Vertrautes wiederfinden, an das er mit staunen erinnert wird.
