Nach einem Aufenthalt in Indien (2005-2006, Aufnahme als Zen-Schüler bei P. Ama Samy SJ) war er Flüchtlingsseelsorger in Berlin und Arbeiterpriester, bevor er in den Gemeindedienst zurückkehrte. Zur Zeit ist er Seelsorger an der Jesuitenkirche St. Michael in München, mit besonderer Zuständigkeit für junge Erwachsene. Seine Yoga- und Zen-Praxis fließt in diese Tätigkeit auf eine selbstverständliche Weise mit ein.
