A Grim Horror of the Fantastic

When an artist wakes from a nightmare in an underground chamber with no memory of how he had gotten there and, finding no exit, his attention falls to the dead man whose body is in a chair as if to still be alive, only sleeping. Looking for answers, he finds a curious star engraved into the stone bedrock of the floor and performs a ritual to contact powers from beyond the light and dark to guide him safely out.

While in the Mists of Ascension, a ritual for crossing The Manx that allows one to travel within the points of the Heliosphere, Begrevra, a Qualophian Daemon, sent to collect a rare disk that was found upon an ancient Earthen Mound meets Magister Two, a Pyromancer from an Esoteric sect known throughout Ha-Aretz (present-day Earth) as 'The Patriarchs of the Eternal Flame.'

Meredith Hook is an insurance lawyer and amateur violinist who, after purchasing her grandparents' home, finds herself amidst a looming backdrop of memories and frightening enemies who are out to settle old scores. She is plunged into a world of terror and bloodcurdling insane asylums full of mad Doctors and evil nurses, all serving a mad god who is seeking revenge. It's all in Meredith's attempt to see the brightest light there is to behold, but she must first face an impossible horror.

Join Jack Clubb as he takes the reader into a world where he holds up an ornate mirror, reflecting our own grim reality back at us and occultly hinting at what's beyond the veil of existence, beckoning all to follow him through the diorama of mythology he has created and the world that he gives a glimpse into within the pages of Obscure Reflections at Dawn.v
