Numicon is a multi-sensory maths programme that encourages children to see and do maths using structured imagery and apparatus. This kit is designed to be used with 4 to 5 year olds (Reception / Primary 1). It includes essential manipulatives to support the Firm Foundations teaching programme for one class of around 30 children. Numicon is research-based and proven to have a significant and lasting impact on results. Flexible and comprehensive, Numicon resources are available in a range of digital, physical and print based materials. It can be used alongside existing schemes, or as a complete maths programme. Extra apparatus is available separately. Not suitable for children under 36 months due to small parts.
