Le but du jeu est de trouver les nombres manquants qui doivent être écrits dans un ordre séquentiel horisontalement et verticalement uniquement. Les chemins diagonaux ne sont pas autorisés. Numbricks est très similaire à Hidato. La difference la plus signifiante est la possibilité de déplacer seulement 1 nœud à gauche, à droite, en haut et en bas.
