The author was born in KOLAR GOLD FIELD of Karnataka state. His father was a Bharat Gold Mine employee. He is interested in writing poems and short stories. He began writing poems, short stories during his college days. Now, with the convenience of the internet facility, he has continued to write poems in websites like eluthu.com, he also participated in various poetry and literature group discussions and received awards and certificates  

He has also received various awards including, Bharathi Award, Kuralasu Award, Kavimamani Award and Kavikkathir Award from Ulaga Tamil Sangam, Tamil Kalai Ilakkiya Maiyam, Chennai Tamil Sangam and other Tamil welfare Societies in Tamil nadu for his best writings.
