The V-Line Express. The train of dreams, the return of the luxury of the golden age of the railway, situated exclusively in Victoria. What was supposed to be the crown jewel of the state railway has become nothing more than a showcase of scandal, corruption & constant breakdowns. Scheduled for decommission the Express takes its final journey across the state with steep discounts to make up for the expected breakdowns.
It's on this journey that Jeremy kick finds himself. Travelling to Warrnambool following the passing of his grandma he finds himself as part of a motley crew of passengers, putting up with the train's regular problems as they try to reach their destination.
But when the train breaks down for a final time, a passenger is found murdered! Now Jeremy finds himself involuntarily thrust into the position of an investigator.
Can he piece together the clues to figure out who amongst them is the killer? Or have they covered their tracks & guaranteed that they will escape justice when the authorities reach them?
