Monolith

The unexplainable appearance of a huge monolith in a field might be nothing to get excited about, but add in a local man raving about ghostly, glowing, inhuman figures in the woods, and now it's a mystery that ticks all Edgar Corey's boxes.

He wants to prove his worth to the man who hired him, and with business slow, this case is just what he needs to attract some interest. His snooping, however, is not welcomed by all.

Undeterred, and joined by Poppy, a willing believer in all things supernatural and unexplained, Edgar finds himself in a remote town in the Appalachian Mountains where local legend has it that extra-terrestrials have visited and may still reside.

The police are unwelcoming, especially when they discover Edgar is poking his nose into a series of crimes they don't want outsiders to know about - it's their business and no one else's. So when Edgar finds himself a target, he cannot be sure whether the warning came from the people behind the spooky occurrences or local law enforcement. What if those are one and the same?

In a deadly race against time, Edgar and Poppy must uncover the truth or risk becoming part of the legend.
