The School of Individuation does not end with understanding. It ends with construction.

Mileposts Five and Six complete the architectural phase of Leg Five - not by finishing the building but by clarifying what is being built and who is building it. The Ego that entered this leg as a laborer exits it as something closer to a steward. The difference is not status. It is responsibility.

Milepost Five descends into the Cathedral of the Heart. The Pope - the Self in its most formal aspect - oversees the work directly here. White threads from the crown, red threads from the root, woven together into the fabric of a life. This is not metaphor for integration. This is integration rendered as craft, as physical labor, as something that can be done wrong and must therefore be done carefully.

The Wounded Healer does not heal by transcending his wounds. He heals by picking up the dominoes of his history - each one a specific damage, a specific failure, a specific place where the story broke - and transmuting them into a single focused instrument. The red and black focus-ball marked with Chiron is not a trophy. It is a tool. The shaman is distinguished from the victim not by what happened to him but by what he does with it afterward.

The Concrete Alchemical Lab is repaired. The Merciful Shadow assists. The Amrita - the Elixir of Life - is defended against those abstract forces that would consume it without contributing to it. The King energy is claimed. Not seized. Claimed - which requires that it be earned first and held lightly after.

Milepost Six turns to infrastructure. The record-keeping systems of the unconscious are clunky, redundant, slow. The work here is administrative in the deepest sense: making the retrieval of soul-data efficient enough to be useful in real time rather than only in retrospect. This is not glamorous work. It is necessary work, and the record does not pretend otherwise.

The Concrete Mother returns. Long absent, long needed - she arrives with money, books, and energy. Practical gifts. The kind a builder needs, not the kind a mystic imagines. Her return is not sentimental. It is structural.

The Suspension Bridge of the Self is reinforced with the brown wood of the body. The Shadow is elevated to equal status - not subordinated, not transcended, not managed. Elevated. The Middle Way is not a compromise between the concrete and the abstract. It is the only architecture that holds both without collapsing under either.

Leg Five closes with a Motiv check. The view has gone rusty. The lens that began this leg by perceiving the Round Fish of the alchemists now requires polishing before it can be turned outward. What has been built internally must eventually be brought into contact with the world. That transition has not yet happened. It is what Leg Six is for.

This is the fifth leg of a living record. It is written as it happened, integrated as far as it could be at the time of writing, and left unresolved where resolution had not yet come.
