Der Flughafen Berlin- Brandenburg, Code BER, war lange ein unvollendetes Großprojekt, halbfertig, funktionslos, im Wartezustand. Über den Zeitraum von drei Jahren hat Matthias Hoch diesen Ort des Stillstands mit einer analogen Großformatkamera erforscht, ähnlich wie ein Archäologe: Raum für Raum - vom Bahnhof bis zum Flugsteig, von der Land- zur Luftseite, dem Blick eines möglichen Nutzers folgend. Entstanden sind so Bilder einer rätselhaften Konstrukts; Aufnahmen eines Ortes, wo dem Noch-Nicht nur ein Nicht-Mehr zu folgen scheint: ein Vexierbild der Zeit. Matthias Hoch, Fotograf, geb. 1958 in Radebeul, lebt in Leipzig. Kathrin Röggla, Schriftstellerin, geb. 1971 in Salzburg, lebt in Köln. Thomas Weski, Kurator, geb. 1953 in Hannover, lebt in Berlin
