Loyalty Profiling bezeichnet einen Managementansatz, der die Komplexität und wesentliche Effekte der Kundenbindung in Abhängigkeit von persönlichen Merkmalen quantitativ modelliert. Der Ansatz basiert auf Wirkungsmechanismen der Kundenbindung und der Untersuchung ihrer ökonomischen Auswirkungen. Den wesentlichen Kern des Loyalty Profiling bilden zwei Profilabgleiche. Einerseits werden die Bindungspotenziale von Kunden den Maßnahmenwirkungen (Effektivität), andererseits die prognostizierten Erträge aus geändertem Kundenverhalten den Kosten der Maßnahmen (Effizienz) gegenübergestellt. Durch Anwendungsbeispiele für die Automobilindustrie und eine computergestützte Umsetzung wird das Loyalty Profiling veranschaulicht.
