Times were tough, jobs were scarce, and food hard to come by. Mostly for the disadvantaged. That's when Lilly, a young girl, wants to help out her family by earning some money.
She puts on a brave face, and old, worn, boys' clothes to work as a shoeshiner in the city. Due to some incredible luck, Lilly becomes friendly with Baroness Goldbroom.
Later, she learns that the Baroness is a goodhearted witch assisting people in need.
Lilly, and her family, are chosen by the Baroness to stop an evil witch trying to steal the immense wealth under Trellebor, the castle-like building. The riches are meant for good purposes, but strongly desired by Ravenclaw to continue with her evil deeds.
The McFaddens are forced to move into Trellebor to safeguard the golden growing coins, which are multiplying daily into astronomical quantities.
Fantasy adventure with magic, a touch of chill and humour for children aged 10+.
