Land use and soil management practices influence the soil nutrients and related soil processes, such as erosion, oxidation, mineralization, and leaching, etc. As a result, it can modify the processes of transport and re-distribution of nutrients. In non-cultivated land, the type of vegetative cover is a factor influencing the soil organic carbon content.
