Laut den Evangelisten hat Jesus immer gewusst, dass Judas ihn verraten würde; es musste sogar so sein, sagen die biblischen Schreiber, sonst wären die alttestamentlichen Verheissungen nicht in Erfüllung gegangen. Judas ist also derjenige, der den Plan Gottes ausführt.
