Ophelia Parish watched as her friends disappeared one by one until only she remained. Then, it was her turn.

For Ophelia's sixteenth birthday, her best friends threw her a surprise party at Creek Lake. It was bliss, being among the waves and feeling the sand between her toes, but all that changed when two of her friends went missing before the party was over. More and more of her friends vanished in the days that followed. Then, after a devastating phone call and a breath-stealing run through the woods, Ophelia, just like her friends, was gone.

Ophelia found herself trapped, surrounded by her friends, captors, and unspeakable horrors... 

As Ophelia straddled the line between life and death, she feared her time was running out. The control she once had was stripped from her, and in the mirror, she saw a monster. Heartbreak and destruction threatened to swallow her whole, making her fight for every breath, and struggle to keep herself from being sucked into a place of insanity.

There would be no escaping her fate without bloodshed, but would the blood spilled be Ophelia's... or someone else's?
