A heating, ventilating, and air-conditioning system can look finished and still fail at the one thing that matters: performing as it was designed to. A fan runs, air moves, and a space feels roughly comfortable while the same system quietly moves the wrong quantity of air, admits the wrong fraction of outdoor air, and consumes far more energy than intended.
