Sean has never felt so lost in his life. Not after the death of his father when he was young or when his mother chose to remarry, leaving him questioning his place in his own family. Lately, he has been questioning his place and purpose in the world in general. The college career that he agreed to because it was what everyone wanted him to do, never really panned out. He felt like his return home from college was nothing less than an admission of defeat. The girl of his dreams was no longer talking to him. Both still young, could she already be the one that got away? And though he loved working in the construction business with his stepfather Ed, that was his dream not Sean's. Not one aspect of his life seems to be working out until he sees her. "Paige is home," Sean is excited at the prospect of reconciling their relationship. He's quick to anger when she doesn't respond when he waves in greeting. He decides to confront things head on and resolve their issues. What he will discover is things are not always as they seem. Sean may be playing a much bigger role in Paige's life than even he could have ever imagined.
