While Colly remains on her home planet of Gliese, her twin Gemini sister Josi is abandoned on Earth as an infant when their star warrior mother is killed during a routine space mission. Even as children, though, Colly visits Josi in her dreams. Eventually, Colly makes a plan and sends Josi a dream to show her she is coming to New York City to reunite.
In order to get to Earth, Colly connects with an orb dealer, Fietch, in a not-so-nice neighborhood on Gilese. Her mission is impossible without him, so she makes a deal and leaves for Earth that day. In wormhole space-time nanoseconds, she breaks through Earth's atmosphere and makes her way to the Big Apple.
She witnesses strange Earth objects, like a cute yin-yang-colored creature called a skunk (not the warmest welcome), as well as a super-shiny Earth car that completes the end of her journey. Now, she must find Josi. Their twin connection could be the key, but Colly better figure things out fast. They only have forty-eight hours to return to the pick-up zone to get back home!
