Die vorliegende Arbeit stellt die Bedeutungen und §die Bedeutungsentwicklung der Präposition "für" dar. §Neben einer synchronen Übersicht über das heutige §Funktionsspektrum der Präposition bietet sie eine §diachrone Darstellung ihrer Funktionen vom §Althochdeutschen bis in die Jetztzeit.§Anhand der althochdeutschen, frühneuhochdeutschen §und neuhochdeutschen Übersetzung des Neuen §Testaments zeigt sie auf, wie die Präposition nicht §nur semantisch immer mehr expandierte sondern auch §wie ihr Gebrauch stetig zunahm. §Sie arbeitet heraus, wie die "für"-Phrasen im Laufe §der Zeit immer mehr die Funktion von Kasus §übernahmen und die Präposition grammatikalisiert §wurde.§Dabei wird der Frage nachgegangen, inwieweit §die "für"-Phrasen perspektivisch wirksam sind und §Aspektualität ausdrücken können.
