Fuzzy Bear wants to look scary. Curly Bear has other ideas. One furstyle is about to go very differently than planned.

Illustrated by hand in watercolor, The Furstyle begins with Fuzzy Bear practicing his fiercest look and Floppy Bear delivering some disappointing news: he is not scary. Not even close.

Then Fuzzy meets Curly Bear, an expert in bear styling who is certain she can help. Soon there is a chilly furwash, a roaring beardryer, and quite a lot more fluff than Fuzzy expected. He came looking for a scary new look. Curly has something else in mind.

"We're just getting started," said Curly.

What begins as one bear's determination to look scary becomes a funny and tender story about friendship, confidence, trying something new, and what happens when things do not go quite according to plan.
