Finding 42: Cut The Rope is the first book in Benny Mailman's "The Experiencer Series." Mailman exits the safety of his home country, the United Stats, on October 4th, 2012 and flies directly into Moscow, Russia. Mailman, a solo traveler hailing from Sparta, Wisconsin, has no idea how long he will travel the world and other than a few early and mapped out destinations, he does not know exactly where his journey will take him. Mailman's soul-goal was to experience freedom at a cellular level and search out the theory of his strongly held belief: that we are all connected, regardless of differences in language, geography, and government leanings.
Mailman's strength-of-will was fostered in the four years he spent in the United States Marine Corps. He would pair this inner vigor with his freshly awakened spirit and the dawn of his faith in the understanding that the Universe will guide you exactly where you are supposed to be.
In his first book of a three-book series, Mailman starts out by navigating the foreign streets of Moscow, visiting Red Square, Saint Basil's Cathedral, and has quite an entertaining night at a karaoke bar as well as a hilarious conversation at a Russian Starbucks. Within a few days, Mailman heads east on the Tran-Siberian Railway. He meets of with Englanders and Swedes and becomes part of a large crew heading into Mongolia and then into Beijing, China.
Mailman is a diligent writer and spent fifteen years in stand-up comedy and improvisation in Las Vegas, New York City, and Los Angeles, as is evidenced in his writing. With high energies, he tells side-splitting stories of Fire Horse and horse-hoof dog in Mongolia, rickshaw races in Beijing, bunking with drunken fellow travelers, the oracle chicken in Nanning and hilarious translations between languages.
