This book offers a fresh, non-technical perspective on feedback control. By recalling a central concept of Norbert Wiener's cybernetics, a positive feedback is expected to stimulate growth, thus having a destabilizing effect, while a negative feedback is used to maintain homeostasis, thus having a stabilizing effect.
