Fate, Fireworks & Finish Lines

The race is on, but will they make it to the finish line?

Reporting on Formula 1 was not how I planned to spend my summer but life is full of unexpected twists.
Instead, this Chicago girl is thrown into the high-octane, glamorous world of F1, where danger lurks at every corner and the stakes are as high as the speeds on the track. My assignment? Follow Italian racing legend Elio Spinelli and uncover the man behind the wheel.

Elio is the media's favorite playboy, with smoldering dark eyes, a wardrobe as sharp as his jawline, and a new woman in the tabloids every week.
From the moment we meet, he's all charm and flirtation, turning his attention-and his devastating smile-on me. I'm determined to keep our relationship strictly professional, no matter how tempting he makes it.

But as I get more than a glimpse into his life, I discover a man far more complex than the headlines suggest. Someone generous, fiercely loyal and with a secret that shatters me to my core.

When a mix-up leads me to family I never knew I had on the Amalfi Coast, Elio becomes more than just my guide to the F1 world-he's the steady presence I didn't know I needed.

With every twist and turn, both on and off the track, my carefully guarded heart starts to race for him and I can't ignore the sparks flying between us.

But if I let myself fall, what happens when summer ends? Can we ever cross the finish line together?
