Eyes on Him

Life can be seen as a series of valleys and mountains. In the valleys we experience the dark and lonely times, the trials, and challenges. Valleys are the places where hurt, pain, and conflict reside, and where we are broken and need God the most.

But God doesn't leave us in the valley forever. He will eventually carry us to the mountaintop, where we find peace, joy, and space for reflection and rest. On the mountaintop we lift our voices in praise for the Lord guiding us through.

In Eyes on Him: Lessons Learned in the Valley, the author will share the lessons God has taught her through His Word as she raised a child with a disability and moved to a new and unfamiliar town, all while enduring chronic pain and illness, loneliness, fear, and uncertainty. This book will encourage you to keep your Eyes on Him through your own up and down journey called life.

Brenda L. Nelson has spent her entire adult life as a professional educator of all ages and stages, preschool through adulthood. A life-long learner herself, Brenda has a passion for sharing lessons the Lord has taught her through personal experience. Brenda has more than two decades of experience designing and presenting meaningful educational experiences, leading conferences, retreats, and training events for adults.
