Exmoor Interlude is a sequel to Mary Rose Baker's previous book, Memoirs of Our Farming Days. Settled now into farming life in Devon, Mary and John Baker move to Exmoor when John inherits South Hill Farm. There's never an idle moment, whether it's battling with the Exmoor weather, tending livestock or helping out campers. And readers of Mary Baker's Cats' Tails will already be familiar with Thomas, an unforgettable cat who is treated with a healthy respect by people, dogs and sheep alike. Full of anecdote, this is a charming and at times very funny account of a unique experience. MARY ROSE BAKER WAS BORN IN SOMERSET IN 1921. SHE WAS EDUCATED AT SEXEY'S SCHOOL, BLACKFORD, AS A BOARDER. SHE IS MARRIED WITH ONE DAUGHTER, TWO GRANDCHILDREN AND TWO GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN.
